BRINSON There are many people who sin cerely believe in reincarnation be cause of certain experiences, as well as having read a great deal of literature written on the subject. I have been confronted many times with this same challenge. As in other mystifying questions I have made an honest search to satisfy myself. With all honest doubt regarding the dimensional or spirit world, we can only review the reports of scientific research and valid knowl- edge. Beyond that we must decide for ourselves and accept that which fits our own conscience—our own souls through faith. Medical science has made tre- niendous advances in ^psychology ar.d psychiatry in the past few dec ades. The sciences are finding more and more truths locked with in the depths' of man’s mind as as tremendous sources of tal- and knowledge as though it wol ent was inherited or alreadv there. J. W. In working with the mind, which grows more mysterious even after exploring its depths, science has come upon techniques that baffle the understanding of ordinary men. Techniques such as psycho therapy, hypno-therapy, psycho genetics and biogenetics are still in their infancy. Yet, it has revealed many mys teries. Some would be best taken with an open mind, yet many ex periments are phenominal, and leave one with a “let’s wait and see’ basis. Others appear to be sol id facts. The area of fraud in some reports is conclusively removed. There are machines invented and used today, similar to the lie detector, that help our medical scientist to detect the truth in hyp no-therapy. They are called electro psychometers. In taking one back to the basic cause of certain com plexes and psychic illnesses, many patients under hypnotism tend to retrogres,s into experiences that after searching their minds, seems to take their memory into past lives. To the scientist and patient this is very real and nothing can shake their conclusion. Some, however, hold on to the contrary, and try to explain this away, as being possible through biogenetic inheritance, or passed on through the herititary genes. Medical science proves that, at tached to each of the male sperm are 24 or more rod-like structures of Chromosomes. Each chromo some carrying thousands of, bio- electronic systems or ge^es. Rain, Early Plants Hinder Fumigation Heavy rains and early tobacco plants may complicate matters for those who want to fumigate their tobacco fields for nematode con trol. Fields that are heavily In fested with nematodes may pro duce very poor crops if not fumi gated; however, if the fumigant does not get out of the soil before transplanting occurs, poor stands, poor growth and sometimes com plete failure result. It is recommended that you wait at least two weeks after fumiga tion before transplanting. The actual phenomena of this guided order is too involved to elaborate here, but very definitely countless heredi tary cells pass on to the offspring. That part which makes up the brain as well as all the intricate mechanisms of the body could well be the reason why, when retro gression under hypnotism is ex perienced, certaiza unknown factors could cause the brain to react into thought dnergy patterns of some experience of our fore-parents. The outcome of the §0: involved is more astounding than their awesome experience: fiWills Simmons who regressed lin*' der hypnosis by Morey Bernstein, recalled a life in Ireland as Bridey Murphey. ~ She is now 38 years of age and married. The now Mrs. Tighe has three children. She has never read the book, but heard her voice play ed back on the tapes. She has turn ed down offers that would net her millions for appearances,, etc. She wants to be left alone. She regrets most of all som'e people thinking the experience was a fraud or a hoax. Morey Bernstein, also rejected like offers to further fame and fortune. But he has gained even more. He was an admitted athiest. He had always been convinced that when a person was dead, that was it. He was through, fully dead. he seems to have found his soul. He states emphatically that rein carnation is a fact. His life is com pletely changed. He had not used hypnosis since. Now psychiatry uses retrogression under hypno therapy in countless thousands of cases for many cures. And what should the ordinary layman believe? Science does not know exactly how we inherit physi cal and psychical characteristics. It is still a mystery. We lack the terminology and facts to deal with it properly. One should accept only that which fits his own soul. But pray keep an open mind. God is much greater and more powerful than anyone can possibly imagine. I would not want to take any kind of stand that would tend to limit the power of God. For this I believe; “That through God, anything and everything is possible. His wonders never cease.’’ two weeks is not long enough un der certain conditions. In most cases, it is best to open the row or re-ridge it to break the crust to allow the fumigant to get out of the soil. There wa.s no meaning to life for him. After the fumigant has been ap plied from five to seven days, it has done what it is going to do in kiliing nematodes. The remainder of the time is merely for getting the fumigant out of the soil. You can hasten this by opening the row any time after the five to sev en days have passed after fumigat ing. The fumigant will escape fast er if the row is left open two or more days. Then re-ridge and transplant tobacco. Merely opening the row and re ridging at the same time will help the fumigant escape. This will break the crust that has formed Where you use the broadcast method of applying fumigant, you can disc the land five to seven days after fumigation, wait about three days, prepare your land and transplant tobacco. In the event it rains immediate-. ly after le-working the row or disk ing the field, the rain will cause the soil to settle, partially sealing it up again and this will delay the escape of the fumigant. • Wherov^ thiniigf P«Opl0 KEHOE - Fri. & Sat.
