If you haven’t heard by now, New Bern lost to Kinston last Friday. There was only a one touchdown difference, but it might have well been a hund red. Even If we did loose, I was still proud of our boys. One Kinstonian told me that he felt New Bern had played the bet ter game, but Kinston just had the better luck. I agreed, not ad mitting that I was a little prej- urdlced. Oh, I heard someone else say that our band was extra good. I didn’t get to see the whole performance, but the other cheerleaders said they were great.
