This time of year is ideal to
look ahead, and plan the at
tractiveness of your property.
European mountain ash,
ginkgo, fan tree, tropical
buckeye, and silver Russian
olive are good accent trees.
Pink dogwood, hawthome,
plum, red bud, golden chain
tree, golden rain tree, weeping
cherry, and crab apple are good
blooming trees. They will be a
lovely sight for you to enjoy,
and inspiring to those who pass
your place.
Blue spruce, taxus hicks,
arbor vitae, wide spreading
pfitzer junipers, creeding
janiper, and globe arbor vitae
are evergreens that don’t drop
all their needles.
Keep trees and shrubs well
watered all during the fall. They
can stand the cold better. It’s
true, as Joyce Kilmer wrote,
that only God can make a tree,
but we can lend a helping hand.
