( " Con’t from Page 7 Bucks will accumulate these Fire man’s Bucks and on Fire man's Day there will be an auction of items that have been donated by the parti cipating merchants of Cra ven County. Ask the mer chants you trade with to give you the Fireman’s Bucks when you make a purchase. New Bern mer chants may be participating so ask them for the Fire man’s Bucks when you make a purchase. The mer chant will determine how many bucks to give his customers for their pur chases. It could be one for one or on some items it could be two for every dollar’s worth of purchases. Save your Fireman’s Bucks so you can bid on the nice prizes. You can read in the Highlights each week Dear Libby Dear Libby: I’m a very sad girl. I’m 14 years old. I’ve , just found out my daddy is seing other women. My parents fuss alot and Mom cries alone in her room when he’s gone at night. I'm very confused and bit ter at my dad. Your trust in your father has been shattered. Ask him for a few minutes of his time to talk with you and let him know how this is affecting your relation ship with him. Tell him you are resentful and very in secure. Ask him to try his best to work things out. As for Mom, go out of your way to be kind to her and help out with house hold chores to take some of the strain off of her. Let me know how things work out. Ask God to help you through these troubles times. I’m pulling for you. LIBBY Dear Libby: My problem is with family coming for visits. I am a sickly person myself. I love to have them to come but they don’t help with any cooking, making beds or any cleaning up behind themselves. I don’t want hurt feelings, so what can I do? EXHAUSTED IN VANCEBORO. Dear Exhausted: Just tell them you love to have them come but you would appre ciate them helping you. Just come out and ask them to help you with dif ferent chores. At this time Stacy Lee will be in charge and will be assisted by Program Director Keith Cannon and Senior Patrol Leader Glenn Forrest. At the Court of Honor parents are urged to come and participate because this is when the scouts receive the badges both they and their parents have worked so hard to earn during sum mer vacation. This will also be an or ganization meeting. Patrols will be formed and staff will be elected. Organiza tion will be under direction of Keith Cannon, Program Director. He will be assis ted by Scoutmaster Richard Cannon, assistants Richard Bowers, and Lee Johnson. Refreshments will be served. Each parent is asked to bring their favor ite refreshment, cookie, candy, cake, or ice cream to share with other - scout families. Any family who has a son eleven years old and wishes to register him in Troop 58 should attend this Court of Honor and organi zation meeting.
