Dear Libby
I was born in Vanceboro
39 years ago, so I have
enjoyed your paper very
much. My problem is rather
simple really. I would like
to use your column to get
my brother who lives in
Vanceboro to come and
visit me. Every year he
tells me next year. Well,
here it is again and he still
didn’t come. He really has
no excuse any more as his
only daughter is married
and has a child and he gets
a paid vacation. He has a
pilot’s license and I live
close to an airport. Confus
ed in Nebraska.
Dear confused in Nebraska:
We are so glad you are
now receiving our edition of
the HIGHLIGHTS.
It was so nice of you to
let us know you are enjoy
ing it. Thank you for con
sulting me. Why don’t you
try and come to Vanceboro?
If there’s a financial reason
why you couldn’t make the
trip to Vanceboro I can
truly understand.
Families or friends just
don’t take time to visit
much anymore. Our lives it death takes a loved one touch with your brother m
seem to be like a merry-go- and we say, “Ohl How I then you’ll have no regret|l|
round. We do need to stop wish I’d taken the time to I hope he will see this dfK
It wmetimes for ourselves visit, call or written this will pay a visit to you soon.
>nd others. Before we know person.” Try to keep in Keep me iaformed. l^by.
