Mrs. Maryland Drake has as her guests Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Drake of Portsmouth, Va. recently. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Drake has as their Thanksgiving guest Mrs. Maryland Drake, Miss Kim Troutner and Rev. T.H. Godwin of Greenville. Miss Wanda Drake of Western Carolina Univer sity spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Drake. While home she attended the Ladies of Craven Bazaar and their meeting Monday night. She attended the Cystic Fi brosis Bowl-a-Thon where her friends and brother, John, were participating. She was also a guest of Carl Willis. Pat Troutner was given a surprise weiner roast Sun day, Nov. 19 in honor of his 12th birthday given by Mrs. Alma Drake and daughter, Wanda. Those attending were Anthony, Gregg, and Rhonda Fulcher, Claudia Taylor, Jerry and Ronnie Jones, Jeff Taylor, Randy Cooke, Billy Gaskins and John Drake. She is an inspira tion for others to be what they are capable of being.
