Pagt 10. Wait Cravan HIghlighta, March 4,1982 Calvin Anderson Good vs. Evil Sin could be defined as Satan In Nature. Satan is known in the Bible as Lucifer or the Devil. Satan is the chief opponent of God. In the beginning before God created the earth, or when it was without form, Satan was in existance. Satan was one of God’s angels. He tried to exalt , himself above God by saying in his heart, “I will ascend into heaven: I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the Mount of the congregation in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most High.” When Lucifer exalted himself with God, he was cast from heaven not to have any part with God. When you do not have any part with God you are his opponent or his adversary. Satan is the tempter against God’s children. It is not the will of God for his children to be tempted, but Satan has no peace and does not want anyone else to have peace. Satan In Nature means to work inside, or work toward that which is of God. Satan wants to be involved in tearing down or making little of the entire circle of God. This spirit is always present, until moved. Satan or his spiritcan be moved outonly by Christ. Even when he is moved out, he will never leave you alone. If he cannot destroy he will corrupt, if possible. Satan will continually work against you. Satan In Nature tries to be in everything God has prepared. The word nature means the inherent tendencies of a person. In God’s nature, that which he has made, that which he is making, and that which he will make is good. It was not God’s will for Satan to be cast out of Heaven, and it is not his will for him to belittle His plan. Satan chose his own plan so he could be the one in authority. By Satan wanting leadership, it made a division with God or Nature. Satan has worked hard to obtain all things in his control. Satan is always trying to get people to do that which is against God, in works, words, or in walks of life. It is impossible to deny the existence of sin, when the whole world is in conflict between good and evil. If sin were not a fact, there would be no crime; we would not need jails or prisons. We would need no locks on our doors, or vaults for our goods. To some, sin is being indiscreet, or it is a weakness of the Flesh. To the educated scholar sin is ignorance, and to the evolutionist, it is the nature of the beast. The latest theory is that sin is a disease to be treated by science because man is not a sinner, he is only sick. To others sin is a form of selfishness. To those who think sin is being indiscreet or lacking judgement, will one day have the opportunity for judgement. For the weakness of the flesh, God will give power over the flesh. To the educated scholars sin has to be done away with by Jesus Christ and not a teacher. If sin is a disease, it can be cured by the great physician, Jesus Christ.
