The 51st annual
reunion of the Whitford
Family and descendants
will be held at the
Woodmen of the World
Lodge Hall in Ernul. N.C.
on the first Sunday in
September.
Each family will bring
dinner which will be
spread at 1:00. The
business session will be
held right after dinner.
YARD SALE
The Vanceboro United
Methodist Women will
have a Yard Sale, Sat
urday, September 11, from
8:30'til 2:00 P. M. The sale
will be held at Pat's Store
in Vanceboro at the
stoplight. We have
additional items donated
including a sewing
machine and a refrig
erator.
All sales benefit the
Church Building Fund.
Art Exhibition
The WENNER Exlybition of Pastels and
Watercolors will be at the Arts Council Gallery,
September 9-October 5, 1982.
To open the show a reception will be held
September 9, 7:30-9 p.m., at the Craven Community
Arts Council, 220 B Pollock Street, honoring the
artist, Jean Wenner, the Executive Director of the
Onslow County Arts Council, Jacksonville, N.C.
All of Ms. Wenner’s work will be for sale and on
view to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a. m. - 5
p. m,.
