Sharing Good News
By Dorothy Fillingame
The good news from the word of God for today
comes from the 23rd Psalm and Rev. 22:17.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He
maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth
me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He
leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His
namds sake. Yea though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art
with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me
.Thou prepares! a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my
cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in
the House of the Lord forever.” Is the Lord your
shepherd? Has your soul been restored? If not, won’t
you come to him today and let him do the work for
you?
Rev. 22:17 says this,“And the Spirit and the bride
say Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And
let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let
him take the water of life freely.”
Tabernacle Holiness
Church News
By Reba Mitchell
Among the path of life this week, my thoughts fall
in line with the word, “Come”. Sometimes the word
“Come”, may be a cry for help. Acts 16:9.
Sometimes it is an invitation. Jesus says, “Come”
unto me all ye that labor and are heavy and I will give
you rest”. Matt. 11:28-30.
Is the load too heavy? Have you grown tired along
the way? Has the journey been too long with no rest in
sight? Jesus will help carry the load and give rest to
your weary soul. Jesus is saying come.
