The Vanceboro Junior Woman’s Club is sponsoring a Talent Show May 14, at 7 p.m. in the Farm Life School Auditorium. This is in connection with the First Annual Vanceboro Strawberry Festival being sponsored also by the Junior Woman’s Club. Nine Cove City Holds Flini big categories of talent are planned. For individuals 15 years and under will have vocal, instrumental, and a pick it yourself category. For individuals 16 and up will be vocal, instrumental, and also a pick it yourself category. For groups with no age limit (how about that Grandpas and Grandmas — get your group together) will be vocal, instrumental, and a pick it yourself category. Hellen Building beside Pat’s Soda Shop on Saturday, May 14, in Connection with the First Annual Vanceboro Strawberry Festival. 'The Auction will start at to 6 p.m. each day. This number will be used by auctioneer to recognize the bidders. Noftem IS too large or too 8 mall for the auction. Jacqueline Crouch Cove Qly recently held its Spring Fling with a big Barbecue Dinner prepared by the Cove City Rescue Squad. Arts, Crafts, and Antiques by local citizens were displayed in the town hall. Ashley Koonce displayed some of his art work and Mrs. Jacqueline Crouch showed antiques form her Smokehouse Antique Shop.
