Fornes March Wedding: Planned Mr. Nicholas Repella of Carbondale, Penna. and Mrs. William lyoab of Chocowinity, N.C. announce the ensragement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Elizabeth (Betty) to Gerry Wayne Fornes. Miss Repella, a graduate of Lakeland High School, Jermyn, Penna. is employed at Samson Mfg. in Washington. Mr. Fornes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lenwood Fornes, of Vanceboro is a graduate of West Craven High School and is employed at Hatteras Yacht in New Bern. A March 3 wedding is planned for 1:00 p.m. at West Vancebofo Church of God. SUFFOLK, VA-Sheila A. Butler and Ronald S. Pate, Jr., were married January 14 at 4:00 p.m. in Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. T.A. Powell officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Gary Phelps of Suffolk and Leslie R. Butler, United States Army. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald S. Pate of Vanceboro, R-2. A program of nuptial music was presented by Mary Lee Warren, organist. Given in marriage by her grandfather. Jack Butler, the bride wore a gown of white sheerganza and Chantilly lace which extended into a cathedral-length train. Her veil of bridal illusion and lace was attached to a Camelot cap of lace and seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and stephanotis showered with white satin ribbons. Lori Waters of Raleigh was the bride’s matron of honor and bridesmaids were Lisa Bishop and Elizabeth McClolly of Virginia Bea^h, Renee Copeland of Franklin, Va. and Anita Davenport of Suffolk. Mr. Pate was his son’s best man and ushers were John Pate of Vanceboro, brother of the bridegroom, Arthur L. Foy of Norfolk, Va., Renny Murrell of Chesapeake, Va. and Mike Baldree of New Bern. Following the ceremony, the bride’s family entertained at a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. Assisting at the reception were Dawn Saunders, Rosemont Butler, Yvelle Phelps, Brenda Davenport and Teresa Butler. Mr. and Mrs. Pate left for a honeymoon trip to Virginia Beach. The bride graduated from Windsor High School and is employed with Food Lion. The bridegroom graduated from West Craven High School and is employed with Hatteras Yachts, New Bern. Mrs. Ronald S.
