Methodism by wearing clothes
of Charles Wesley era. They
also welcomed friends that
returned for the Homecoming
affair.
A dinner was served in the
church parking lot and
everyone enjoyed the fancy
dishes of modern day
Methodists.
Specialist
By REBA MITCHELL
Along the pathway of life, we observe many special occasions
persons, places and things. Many times we are so involved in the
lesser part or that which is special we forget the specialists. If it
had not been for the Specialists, there would be no special
occasions.
The specialist did what no other could do. He is the Great
Creator. Gen. Ch. 1.
Mother’s Day is very special to all of us. Without Mother, we
would not have this special day. It was God’s plan for us to have
Mother. She is a gift of God.
As we approach this special day, let’s do so in remembrance of
God, the Creator, with 'Thanksgiving and with love and honor of
our Mother that God has given us. She is special every day.
