Bounce Up Short
The West Craven Lady
Eagles staged a good come
back. They were down 17-6 in
the first quarter but came back
to shorten the margin to 25-21
with the lady Trojans ahead by
four at the half.
The clock became the key
factor in the second half of this
game, as it ticked down the
Trojans widened its margin.
This is what caused the Lady
Eagles to come up short.
Coach Gaye Hines said that
the Lady Eagles showed a good
sign of improvement.
The players that scored in
double figures was lead by
Linda Gatlin with 25 and
Jarwarn Cox with 15 for the
Eagles Kim Murrell with 23,
and Denise Willie with 10 were
the Trojans scoring in double
figures.
