Valley Brook Farms Cookjes in decorative containers were sold by the many parents and supporters of the PTO. At the end of the selling period, a total of nearly $25,0Q0.00 in cookies had been spid. This will give the PTO a profit of over $8,000.00 to use for projects at the school. Students were awarded points based on the number of cookies sold. The points were then converted into prizes. The top prize of $100.00 was awarded to Tracy Roach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Roach, for selling $410.00 in cookies. Students selling over $300.00 in cookies are Leslie Mills, Jason Mayo d Tony Hardy. Students ling over $200.00 in cookies ire Tammy Avery, Cindy Taylor, Brandy Simpkins, Snow White, Latrice Cobb, Steven Toler, Mia Seabolt, Debenee Dawson, Sherry Roundtree, Scott Tyson, Steven Dunn, Thomas Roach, Elijah Pugh, Donald Gray, and Ashley McCandless. Over 75 students sold over $100.00 in cookies. All students selling over $100.00 in cookies will be treated to lunch at the Pizza Inn. The top selling class was Mrs. Joyce Gehrig's first grade and they will also be treated at le Pizza Inn. The PTO wishes to thank everyone that took time to sell and deliver cookies. A special thanks is given to the following people for helping in the tabulating of orders, sorting and giving out of the cookies: Buddy Whitford, Jayne French, LaDonna Kite, Joy Wright, Brenda Lewis, Barbara Nobles, Wendy Roach, Joan Evans, and Barbara Wiggins. The PTO appreciates, also, the efforts put forth by the school principal, the secretaries, teachers, and aides. Without their support the cookie sale would not have been a success.
