m- f, ► Obituaries Susan Brock Tuscarora-Susan Brock, of 614 Drymonia Rd., Tuscarora community died Tuesday at Craven County Hospitai. Funerai is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary M.B. Church with the Rev. James Styron officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery, Turkey Quarter community. She is survived by three sons, Marcellus Brock Jr. of Warsaw, William Issac Brock of the Jasper community, and Jarhes Earl Brock of Waterbury Conn.iseven daughters, Olivia Butipr, Mary Bennett, and Sudie Mae Lane, all of the Jasper community, Rosetta Smitb of Clinton, Catherine Watkins of St. Albans, N.Y. Alberta Downing and Velma Parker, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 32 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and nine great- great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence. Joy Chapter 314 Order of Eastern Star will hold a ritualistic service from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Mary M.B. Church On NC 55. '"’funeral arrangements announced by Oscar's Mortuary, Inc. Kenneth R. Jones II Vanceboro-Kenneth Raynor Jones II of Vanceboro died Sunday at Craven County Hospital. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Vanceboro, "Wfh the Rev. Kenneth Townsend and the Rev. C. Edward Sharp officiating. He is survived by his widow, Sarah L. Jones; one son, Kenneth Raynor Jones III of Garner; one daughter, Hayden H. Jones of New Bern; one sister, Mrs. D.L. Ward Sr. of New Bern; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the home in Vanceboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Vance boro. Mr. Jones was owner of K.R. Jones Oil Company until his retirement. He was also a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #3, New Bern Scottish Rite and New Bern Elks club. Mr. Jones graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill m 1926. Arrangements are by Pollock-Wells & Best Funeral Home.
