Tuesday, was held Thursday,
September the 18 at Sanders
Chapel United Methodist
Church, Route 2, Smithfield.
Burial , was at the church
cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Doris
Cobb Hill; sons, Rev. Richard
C. Hill Jr. of Jamesville, Robert
Elwood Hill of Ocracoke;
daughters, Mrs. Deborah Ann
Jones of Selma, Mrs. Bonnie
Lou Anderson of Trenton. Miss
Donna Lynn Hill of Ocracoke;
brothers, J.T. Hill of Smithfeild,
Rev. Robert Earl Hill and Rev.
Ralph McCoy Hill, both of
Clinton, Harvey Gene Hill and
Wake Dixon Hill, both of
Selma, Rev. Leon Hill of
Goldboro; sisters, Mrs. Olive
Creech and Mrs. Mary
Elizabeth Austin, both of
Smithfield: six grandchildren.
Arrangements were by
Underwood Funeral Home.
He served Lane's Chapel,
Epworth and Chapman
Churches for 2 years and was
transferred to Ocracoke U.M.
Church where he became ill.

In September we began new
office hours-8:00 a.m.-5:00
p.m. to have the same hours as
the other offices in the
building. Of course the staff
will continue to see volunteers
or mothers by appointment at
other times when it is
impossible to see them during
the regular hours.

chartering a bus to attend the
State Fair. They will leave from
St. John's Church on October
18th at 7:00 a.m. The cost is
