The behind the scene workers
are: Luanne Hobbs, in charge of
scenery and stage settings; Alarga-
ret McKee, in charge of the lights;
and Mrs. Bailey, the adviser of
Orchesis—one of the most import
ant back stagers.
Besides putting this program on
for the student body of St. Mary’s,
Orchesis has been invited to present
it to Myrtle Underwood December
18. This is quite an opportunity for
all the girls because it will give
them a chance to perform before
different types of audiences and re
ceive their reactions. This is the
first time that Orchesis has ever
performed somewhere besides at St.
Alary’s.
A lot of work has been put into
the production of the Littlest
Angel. This is the first perform
ance which the new members have
had a part in. Orchesis is sorry to
announce that Betsy Yow will not
be able to dance, but she is design
ing the props.
Orchesis would like to thank Dr.
Guerry for his help and advice
throughout the prcjiaration for this
program and also Dr. Brown who
taped the music.

“Madwoman Of Chaillot”
Receives Acclaim
The night before Thanksgiving
vacation some very talented St.
Alary’s girls and State and Raleigh
boys presented the play “The Alad-
woman of Chaillot.” The acting of
each person in the play is certainly
worth special comment, but every
one agrees that ARcky Rothrock
really did a “top notch” job.
The scenery, taken care of by
the Art Department at St. Alary’s,
was fabulous. The scene in the
madwoman’s basement rated a
special handclap which it receiv
ed from the very appreciative audi
ence.
