Secretary of Hall Council to be Announced Tonight
Molly Richardson has been elected
as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Stu
dent Government Association for
1967-68. On March 17 she ran
against Lvnn Fulghum, who was
nominated from the committee and
Betty Ferguson, Rose Ann Thomp
son and Gherry Warren, who were
nominated from the floor.
As Secretary-Treasurer of the
SGA, Molly will serve as Secretary
of the Honor Board. She will act as
secretary and treasurer of the Asso
ciation by keeping accurate financial
records and recording the proceed
ings of all meetings. At the end of
the college year she makes an an
nual report to be filed on the records
of the annual events.
While at St. Mary's, Molly was
president of the Freshman Glass and

Juliet Smith has been elected vice-
president of the Student Govern
ment association for 1967-68.
There was a run-off between
Juliet and Lynn Fulghum. Others
nominated were Betty Ferguson,
Jane Marzoni, and Ann Pollard.
Juliet, an old girl, is from Kinston.
This year she has served on the
Honor Board, as a Junior Glass rep
resentative. She was also class editor
of the Stagecoach and vice-president
of the Granddaughters’ Glub.
As Vice-president of the SGA, she
will serve on the Honor Board, Leg
islative Body, Hall Gouncil, and
Disciplinary Gommittee. She must
also act as student chairman for
Orientation Week and must draw
up the handbook test.
