At this time both the Highsmith and Cooper Medal will be awarded. Final Commencement exercises for the Senior class of St. Mary’s College will he at 2:00 P.M. on the same day. Cirls should assemble at 1:25. The Niles Medal, the Craham Award, and the King Medal will be awarded during these exer cises. This year’s speaker for Baccalaureate will be Dr. Frank W. Pisani, the ninth President of St. Mary’s College. Dr. Pisani received his A.B. degree at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1942 and his Master of Divinity in 1955. In 1970, he was awarded the Doctor in Divinity degree at Virginia Seminary. In addition to his position here at St. Mary’s which he has held since 1969, Dr. Pisani has served as Vice-Presi dent of Pisani Printing Company, taught at the University of Tallahassee, and served as rector of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Talla hassee. He also acted as Associate Dean at Vir ginia Theological Seminary from 1963 until the summer of 1969. The speaker for both Commencement cere monies will be Dr. Robert J. Miller, Academic Dean-elect of St. Mary’s. Dr. Miller received his B.S. degree from North Carolina State Uni versity in 1956. He also has his Master of For estry, Master of Science, and Doctor of Phil osophy degrees from Yale University. Master minding the graduation plans has been Mr. Nixon. He reminds all the Sopho mores and Seniors to wear a dress and shoes, be prompt, to remember the reception at the President’s home at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, and that in case of rain, the activities will be held in Pittman Auditorium.
