The basketball team has been very
busy since the last issue. They have
played eight games posting a 5-3 re
cord. The team has had spirit and en
thusiasm. Coach Alexander says,“This
team is full of desire to win and each
player has a great commitment to the
team.” The five wins have come against
some good schools, especially a 51-48
double overtime win over Bishop
McGuinness. The three losses include
two hard fought games to Meredith
which Coach terms “good losses; if
ever there was a ‘good’ loss it’s those
two games. We played hard and learned
a lot.” The other loss came in another
really tough game against Ravenscroft.
This year’s team consists of: Harriet
Adams, Ann-Cabell Baum, Aiice
McCall, Charlotte McCall, Lia McDon
ald, Maura Moylan, Kathryn Thompson,
and Nicoil Turner. Please come out
and support them as they wind up the
season. Beiieve me — it’s a team worth
coming to seel!
