North Carolina A skit based upon Whittier’s “Maud Muller” was a humorous part of the program. Taking part in the pantomime were: Helen Jones, Majanah Hagan, Marjorie Bell, Alice Lou Planner, Louise Harris, Joyce Benfield, Mary Eli nor Dryden, Ruth Teague, Dixie Hawkins, Nancy Hanna, and Ail- ene Ailstock. Julie Munden was reader for the presentation. Beth Jones, as Nonpareil, had the leading role in the dramatiza tion of the ideals of the society. Other parts were taken hy Be atrice DeWitte as Dignity, Hilma Jean McSwain as Simplicity, and Julia Greene as Conservatism.
