So it is with the "body" of Christ . . . the Holy Spirit has fitted us all together into one body. We have been baptized into Christfe body by the one Spitit, and have all been given that same Holy Spirit. I Corin.l2:12,13 It is of course quite hard to feel a oneness with a friend it,while you're talk ing to him,he's look ing all around you, obviously not totally . concentrating on what you're saying to him. It's hard to feel a unity within a group if everybody's got a different idea, and each person wants to do something "their" way. It's hard for Christians to be de dicated to a really big job when it in volves people in so many stages of growth and understanding. However, there is one over-all "bind"—the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love; we're all work ing for the same man. When school first started, back in Au gust, it was the ob servation of several people that we as a student body lacked unity. Sure, we were all working for some thing, we had a goal, but there wasn't one thing that we could all acknowledge as a "unifying power" among us. To some people, that's no big problem. If unity doesn't hap pen pretty easily, then maybe it wasn't supposed to happen at all. But in the very essence of that thought, we have been pulling closer an5 closer as a body working for a common achievement, workii^? more and m°re TOGETHER for Christ- This is not to say that the whole campt® has been knit to' gether and now every' body is going the same direction. That would be really riit®' but I think it woul be awfully hard to accomplish anywhere- But what is coming to be more and ®oiro everyday is an over aS all unity among us students. We're ing together, tryi™ new things. Altho^? a body has many each different, they're all put to gether, they work :aiap'^^' oi one. Here on cc we have the unity friendship and cern for each othot^ and that ties us to SomeWJ pray^ h3 VO gether. down the line Bible studies, and share groups been blessed cally by Goa people have some little someth^^^ that brings the ing of a Christt^^ life to a better derstanding. don't separate out 3^ selves so much the Christians side and the Christians on other: we're teU meeting more middle.
