The first half of Mars Hill’s schedule is more favorable to the lions than the latter half. Following Concord, the lions will take on Catawba, who finished at the bottom of the SAC-8 last year. The Lions welcome back Cary and Connie Still man, Bunny Cardwell, and Cynthia Hill as the nucleus of MHC’s attack. Hart expects these four to be leaders on the squad and hopes the freshman will de velop their skills in the winning Mars Hill Tennis Tradition. Through the persistence of the stu dents, and the cooperation of the Ad ministration, the team was formed and Dr. Thomas Coates (an assistant profes- 1983-84 season. Though Dr. Coates has limited experience coaching soccer, he is. eager to start the program on a winning track.
