Autumn is here and we all know what
that means: Homecoming. Soon tlie
campus will be swamped with old faces and
gold and blue decorations.
Visitors will come from far away to
capture on film the parade of colored leaves
that canvas the mountain-sides. Students on
campus will be getting into the Homecoming
spirit by putting up banners and balloons to
welcome alumni. The football team will be
at its best and pumped-up for the big game.
It is called “Homecoming” for a reason.
It is a time when the old meets the new. Old
friends come together to swap stories and
relive days-gone-by. New fiiends make
memories while cheering the Lions on to
victory.
After spending four years on the Mars
Hill College campus, it becomes your home,
the students and staff become your family.
And Homecoming is the time to come home
to that family.
