This big collegiate feature is an other Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer 100 per cent talking, singing, dancing picture and easily takes the place at the head of its class in entertainment value. Cliff (Ukelele Ike) Edwards known throughout the phonographic domain for his moaning blues and clarinet gurglings, plays a comedy relief part. He not only puts his number over with a greater personality than on records but he turns out to be alika ble and adroit clown as well. The big football game filmed and recorded in the Los Angeles Coliseum with a hysterical crowd of 100.000 fans cheering for the Trojans of San ford is the dramatic climax of the pic ture. No mention of the whoopee se ! quences would be complete without I dwelling upon the catchy and tune | ful numbers that abound in the pic ture. We predict that “Campus Cap- ! ers” will take the place of the “Black Bottom” and other collegiate stomps. -□ “4 Devils” Caps Career of Gaynor The ancient hut apt saying, “Truth is stranger than fiction,” might well be applied to the eieen career of.
