Students Pick Best All Round Pupils Next Week The Girl Reserves are putting on | a program next week and besides the different fo ms of entertainment the it' will be a selection of ihe High School leaders. This contest will pick the student that is: tho best Ijjkinv, he most popular, tie wittiest, ihc biggest baby, the most influent’al, the most studious, the best athlete, the most conceited, and several other straits and lines. This performance is put on annually by the Girl Re serves to raise money as the students who attend have to pay a small lare. The program this year will be in teresting, as Coby Williams has a short skit that he has worked out that he and other students will put on and Coby is a great originalist, so one can expect to be entertained well in his part of the program. It will al so be interesting to see the leaders that are picked go across the stag*? so the students can get an idea of “Who’s Who” in Roanoke Rapids High School. Typists At High School In Contest On Friday, May fi, (ho State com mercial contests in shorthand and typewriting were held in the local school. In past years the contests have been held in some central town to which all the contestants went to enter the contest.
