SEE HIM ABOUT YOUR EYESIGHT In the stillness of waiting i at the bedside of the sick! I IN THE CONCEPTION and establish * ment of Roanoke Rapids Drug Stores, our guiding creed was to attain the high ideal of rendering a distinctive service to the community . . . We aimed to hold foremost our responsibility as pharma cists with never a deviation in an effort to attract more trade and pile up volume business . . We were resolved to so con duct this business that a lasting confi dence would be established in the minds of our patrons ... a confidence built up on the knowledge that a prescription compounded at any Roanoke Rapids Drug Store would be executed by one well qualified to do the job ... In our opinion there is not, nor can there be, any connection between the high art of applied chemistry as practiced by an able pharmacist, and that o f bargain store high-pressure merchandising .... The two no more mix than do oil and water ... So friends and patrons, Roa noke Rapids Drug Stores are pharmacies where only the purest drugs, ingredients, oils and ointments are assembled .... awaiting that prescription from the pen of the careful and painstaking physician or surgeon ... to be filled promptly and accurately . . . and with which you may proceed in the utmost confidence ... In the stillness of those painful waiting hours at the bedside of a loved one, sick maybe unto death, nothing less than the best in medicines, in accuracy of com pounding and dependability would for a moment be considered . . . Desperate illnesses develop from minor ailments improperly attended. Therefore, it is high ly important at all times to select your druggist with care.
