WELFARE DEPARTMENT The Welfare Department of the Woman’s Club met on Monday afternoon at three-thirty, with Mrs. Bohnson Weathers, chair man of the department as hostess, ten members and one visitor were present and the names of nine new members were fidded to the' roll. It was reported that seven quarts of milk a day are being sent to slhool children. Mrs. Jenkins, as chairman of visiting committee, named Mrs. B. J. Dunning and Mrs. Alfred Thorne t oassist her. It was the unanimous feeling of the department to offer their ser vices and co-operation to the work of the Associated Charities. The department decided to have a rummage sale with November 11 suggested as a tentative date, and all those interested in the milk fund or work of the Welfare De partment are urged to save and contribute articles to this sale.
