Everyone Is Invited
to Attend the
Community
Singing
on Christmas Eve
at the Community Tree
Roanoke Avenue at 6th.
ROANOKE RAPIDS citizens are invited and urged
to attend the Vesper Service at the Community
Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Decem
ber 24th, at five o'clock. A very short service will be
held but every citizen, no matter what their belief, should
attend this service. An invocation, Scripture reading and
singing by all those present make up the program. The
Rosemary Concert Band will furnish the music. The
four songs to be sung are printed elsewhere in this issue.
Clip them out and bring them with you. There will be
no gifts at the tree, this being simply a community pro
gram of prayer and song. As it is to be held out of doors,
the committee decided not to hold the service in case of
rain.
