NUMBER THIRTY-SIX Everyone Is Invited to Attend the Community Singing on Christmas Eve at the Community Tree Roanoke Avenue at 6th. ROANOKE RAPIDS citizens are invited and urged to attend the Vesper Service at the Community Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Decem ber 24th, at five o'clock. A very short service will be held but every citizen, no matter what their belief, should attend this service. An invocation, Scripture reading and singing by all those present make up the program. The Rosemary Concert Band will furnish the music. The four songs to be sung are printed elsewhere in this issue. Clip them out and bring them with you. There will be no gifts at the tree, this being simply a community pro gram of prayer and song. As it is to be held out of doors, the committee decided not to hold the service in case of rain. ...—
