FIRST TWO WEEKS IN JUNE CLINIC ON TUBERCULOSIS Dr. Thomas Will Conduct Free Examinations All Over Halifax County The County Health Department has made plans for holding an adult diagnostic tuberculosis clinic. The clinic will be conducted by Dr. C. D. Thomas, clinician, from the State Sanatorium. The work will begin Monday, June 4th, and continue through June 16th. These examinations will be en tirely free. This fact leads us to say that this service is made pos sible through the annual sale of the tuberculosis Christmas seals which is another very splendid reason why we should buy these seals. Naturally, those in charge of the clinic are desirous of accom plishing the greatest good and in order to do this there are certain classes of patients that should be given the advantage of this exami nation: “(1) Any one referred by a physician; (2) Those who have symptoms of tuberculosis, such as: (a) A cough that lasts more than two weeks, (b) A hemorrh age from the lungs, (c) A rise of temperature in the afternoon, (d) A low blood pressure (suggestive), (e) Loss of weight, (f) Loss of strength, easily tired, (g) Night sweats, (h) Chronic hoarseness. (3) Those who have been closely exposed to tubercular infection by an active case in the home. (4) Any one who is sick and has not obtained a positive diagnosis of another disease.” Therefore, those individuals having a history of NOTICE OF SALE Under and by virtue of the pow er of sale conferred upon the un dersigned Trustee in that certain deed of trust executed by Costella Boyd and Julier Boyd, his wife, dated the 25th of January, 1930, default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness there in set out and thereby secured, I will on Saturday the 2nd day of June, 1934, at 12 o’clock Noon, in front of the Rosemary Branch of the Roanoke Bank & Trust Company, in the Town of Roanoke Rapids, N.
