LADIES NIGHT ON FEB. 21 Next Thursday night, Feb. 21, ■will be Ladies’ Night at the local Kiwanis Club at which time the members will entertain their wives and sweethearts and a special pro gram is being arranged. A foil program is being ar ranged wh ch will include as speaker, Prof. Ralph Deal, of E. C. T. C. The program will start with supper at 0:30. At the meeting tonight, guest of honor was C. C. Shell, President of the Roanoke Rapids Merchants A-sociation. Graham Lynch was inducted in as a member of the club and will play the piano in the future. Dr. McGeachey re ported that a radio, bought by the club for an invalid, had been in stalled. Ned Manning reported that Willie Hawkins, assisted by the club, was in New York re ceiving special medical treatment. A Valentine Day program was en joyed by the members and guests. The fifth annual Kiwanis Min strel was announced for the 22nd of next month.
