Gordon L. Price, chairman of the local chap ter, which includes Littleton and Aurelian Springs. As seen on the chart above, the amount re ported tonight raised by this Chapter is $713.74. This is $494.37 in the Roanoke Rapids sector and $219.37 reported by Mrs. W. A. Ward, chairman of the Littleton sector. An intensive personal plea is made to those getting paid off in Roanoke Rapids this Friday to go to a local Red Cross station and make a contri bution. It is hoped to reach the thousand dollar mark by Saturday night if this is done. It is hoped a personal drive from person to person will not be necessary, considering the immediate importance. Red Cross officials here have decided to leave this matter to individual generosity and all gifts here have been and will be purely voluntary.
