Roaring Timber Sunday Film At Pitts In Emporia The New Pitts’ Theatre in Em poria, Va., offers this Sunday "Roaring Timber” which is a thrill ing picture of the lumber jacks at work. Unusual scenes of huge fall ing trees and other logging scenes make this a very entertaining pic ture. Jack Holt is the star and he is ably supported by Ruth Donnelly and Grace Bradley. Monday and Tuesday the Pitts New Theatre will present “Souls At Sea”, starring Gary Cooper, George Raft and Frances Dee. “Souls At Sea” is a stQry of the slave traffic days and is one of the outstanding dramatic film of ferings of the year. Mrs. L. Cutchins Buried In Enfield Burial of Mrs. Louise Preston Cutchins, of Fuquay-Varina, was made in Elmwood Cemetery in En field, on Wednesday afternoon at one-thirty o’clock. She died at her home at Fuquay-Varina on Tues day and services were held at the Presbyterian Church there at ten o’clock Wednesday and were con cluded at the grave here. Mrs. Cutchins was the widow of J. B. Cutchins and was 91 years of age. She and Mr. Cutchins were natives of Halifax County, she be ing a sister of the late Miss Coff Bustin and Mr. West Bustin, of En field. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Julia Stephens, of Fuquay Varina.
