The Golden Text of the Lesson
Sermon on “Thanksgiving” was as
follows: “The Lord is my strength
and my shield; my heart trusteth
in him, and I am helped: there
fore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise
him.” (Psalms 28:7)
One of the scriptural passages
contained in the Lesson-Sermon
was from the sixty-third chapter
of Isaiah: “I will mention the lov
ing kindnesses of the Lord, and
the praises of the Lord, according
to all that the Lord hath bestowed
on us, and the great goodness to
ward the house of Israel, which he
hath bestowed on them according
to his mercies, and according to
the multitude of his loving kind
nesses. The reading from the
Christian Science textbook, "Sci
ence & Health with Key to the
Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy,
included the following citation:
“Divine Love always has met and
always will meet every human
need. It is not well to imagine

Through the liberal spirit of
Bro. Joe Harrison the baotistry is

heating the water. And so the
Church marches on through thick

last Sunday on the new heater for
the baptistry.
