RECREATION activities employees of the textile mills in Roanoke
Rapids goes on the year around now.
Recent developments include club
houses where employees gather day and night for games, reading and good
fellowship. Opened recently are the two club houses shown above: TOP,
Club House for employees of Roanoke Mills Co. at the corner of 4th and
Madison Streets; BOTTOM, Club House for employees of Patterson Mills
Co. at the corner of 7th and Jefferson Streets. Ledgerwood Hall has been
turned into a Club House for employees of Rosemary Manufacturing Co. at
