The great BELK organization oper ates over 165 stores in the South, earning for them the enviable reputation of: “T h e South’s Largest Distributors of Quality Merchandise.” We hit upon a new Toy, for ex ample ... one that would con tribute endlessly to both the en tertainment and instruction of thousands of kiddies in the Southland. A certain manufac turer controls the patent or copy right. Our merchandise manag er reports it would be “an excel lent item—but the price is not within the reach of the masses ...” Ours is a powerful buying organization . . .
