She is a little lady with hair that’s silvery white; She is so kind and gentle and prays for me each night. I long to see her smiling face, I crave her tender care, I know she is always watching my footsteps everywhere. She is my guiding angel, but now she is all alone. Some day I hope to meet her when life on earth is done. I hope to be a little turtle dove, I’ll grow big wings; I’ll do big things Just like my mother’s love and fly across land and sea. I’ll swing my wings above the stars and meet my mother there. Mrs. Nellie Carroll, Mrs. Elma Parrish, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. Hamil! And Gregory On Probation Recorder’s Court May 9 E. L.
