Ivey MoKorn New Station Manager White Motors Ivey Mohorn, well-known Roa noke Rapids man, has been made manager of the service station de partment of White Motors, Inc., and assumed his new duties on January 1st. Mr. Mohorn has been connected With the baking industry in Roa noke Rapids for the past 15-years, and for the last 3-years has suc cessfully operated a wholesale route for the Atlas Baking Company, of Richmond, in this territory. The service station department Of White Motors is operated in connection with the garage and lo cal sales agency for the Ford. Mer cury and Lincoln-Zephyr line of motor cars. The station handles the Shell line of gasoline and oils, as well as a complete line of tires, batteries and accessories. The sta tion is located on Roanoke Avenue at Ninth Street. Southern Dixie Men Guests Dist. Manager In City T. B. Glover, district manager of the Southern Dixie Life Insurance Company, with headquarters in Roanoke Rapids, was host on Wed nesday night of this week to ten representatives of the company in this territory, as well as other in vited guests.
