COUNTY COURT MAY 15th Ernest Garner, colored of Ga rysburg, driving while drunk, fin ed $50 and costs. License revoked for 12 months. Doyle Keeter, white, of Weldon, assault on C. L. Kelley, Jr., six months on the roads to be sus pended on payment of the costs and $10 for use of C. L. Kelly Jr., and on condition he does not visit Faucetts Township for two years. J. C. Gaylord, white, of Roanoke Rapids, fined $50 and costs' and license revoked for 12 months for driving while drunk. Harry Boyd and Joseph Hicks, colored of Littleton, affray, Harry Boyd not guilty; Joseph Hicks, prayer for judgment continued on payment of the costs and good behavior for two years. Blanche Wood, colored, of En field, assault with deadly weapon, 60 days in jail. Charlie Johnson, white, of Roa noke Rapids, damage to personal property, six months on the roads, suspended on payment of the costs and $35.00 for use of J. T. Stal- j lings for damage to his car, and , also a fine of $25.00 and that he is to refrain from clrinKing alco holic beverages for 12 months. John Jefferson and May Patter son, colored, of Roanoke Rapids, were found guilty of fornication and adultery and given six months in jail each, with John Jefferson to be assigned to the roads. Jimmie Candira, colored, of Til lery, driving without license, pray er for judgment continued on pay ment of the costs and on condi tion he does not operate a motor vehicle until he has obtained op erator’s license. Eva Mae Davis and Arthana An drews, colored, of Weldon, assault, 60 days in jail each. J. J. Tidwell, of Roanoke Rap ids, fined $50 and costs for op earting a car while under the in fluence of liquor. At the conclusion of the pro gram Miss Mohorne, assisted by her mother, served a sandwich plate and tea. Those present were Misses Beaunie Holliday, Helen Hedge peth, Juanita Underwood, Dorothy Rice, Lelia Webb, Ruth Bell, Hilda Hines, Mary Virginia Jenkins and Mrs. L. S. Neal.
