Wheeler Leads
Buecos At Bat
With .407 Avg.
Grady Wheeler, crack third
baseman. is now leading the Pat
terson Pirates at bat with a hefty
average of .407. Grady, a gradu
ate of N. C. State College, was a
unanimous choice to play third
base on the City League All-Star
team last week. The second man
in the slugging department for
Patterson is Hugh Bugg, first
baseman, who has a potent .370
average. The third highest batter
for the Buccos is Leonard Hock
