Joyner en tertained at a party in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dickens in En field Thursday evening compli menting Mrs. Herschel George Murphy, a recent bride, who was formerly Miss Grace Person, of Enfield. Miss Selma Fleming and J. F. White captured the two high score prizes. The honoree’s gift was crystal in her chosen pattern. Mrs. Lawrence Norman Chamber lin, a recent bride, who before her marriage last month was Miss Mamie Lee Kimball, was remem bered with a gift. The two brides were also given dainty nosegays. Faison was hostess at a dinner Saturday evening at her home on Jefferson Street in honor of her husband’s birthday. Dinner was served picnic style out in the yard.
