Littleton Junior 4-H Club Elects Year’s Officers A meeting of the Littleton Jun ior 4-H Culb was held on October 15th, at which time officers for the coming year were elected, as well as other business matters attended to. Dan Barnes was chosen as President of the club, and the fol lowing other officers elected: Har vey Davis, Vice-president; Mar garet Harper, reporter; Louise Shearin, Secretary and Treasurer, and Hal Northington was selected as Recreational Leader for the Club. Miss Anna Marie Fisher and Miss Nancy Wolhar will sponsor a social at the rectory on Tuesday, November 10, at 8:15 p. m. On this Saturday night at 7:30, the children will enact an impres sive pageant in honor of the Moth er of God together with appro priate Mission devotions. Father Denges welcomes every body to the Catholic Church es pecially the gallant lads of Uncle Sam. Eason - Robinson Miss Jeanette Robinson, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. F. I. Robinson of Weldon, became the bride of Emil E. Eason, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Eason of Smithfield and Sumter, S. C., on Friday afternoon, October 30, a the Methodist church in Weldon The Rev. E. D. Weathers offici ated. Altar decorations consisted of : background of greenery with ; tall pedestal basket of whit chrysanthemums in the center o the pulpit, flanked on either sid by tiered candelabra with lightei tapers and pedestal baskets o white chrysanthemums. The chan t cel rail was intwined with sprays . of ivy. Mrs. Marcus A. Garriss rendered a program of nuptial music, in t eluding “Indian Love Call,” “Eve i ning Star,” “Ave Maria,” and “The ; Rosary.” Mrs. Charles R. Daniel f aunt of the groom sang “At Dawn : ing” and “O Perfect Love.” The 1 traditional wedding marches were f used for the processional and re - cessional. The bride and bridegroom en tered the church together unat tended. The bride wore a street dress of soldier blue with black accessories and a shoulder corsage of Tallisman roses. Following the wedding the bride’s parents entertained at an informal reception. Mr. and Mrs. Eason left im- I mediately after the reception for a wedding trip after which they will be at home in Weldon.
