Notice is hereby given that the
partnership lately subsisting be
tween Gordon R. Rawls and Tom
S. Brown of Roanoke Rapids, North
Carolina under the firm name of
Roanoke Furniture Exchange Com
pany and Rawls Furniture Com
pany was dissolved on the 20th day
of October, 1942, in accordance with
an agreement between said part
ners and in accordance with a
judgment of the Superior Court of
Halifax County entitled, “Tom S.
Brown vs. Gordon R. Rawls.”
All debts owing to said partner
ship are to be received by Tom S.
Brown and all demands on said
partnership are to be presented
to the said Tom S. Brown. Tom
S. Brown will continue the busi
ness individually at the same loca
tion at 217 Roanoke Avenue, Ro
anoke Rapids, North Carolina.

corporation of this State, whose

may be served), has complied with
the requirements of Chapter 22,
Consolidated Statutes, entitled
“Corporations,” preliminary to the
issuing of this Certificate of Disso
lution:

the 30th day of May, 1942, file in my
office a duly executed and attested
consent in writing to the dissolu

having been made in the payment
