HOLD SPECIAL
XMAS SERVICE
There will be Divine services at
All Saints Episcopal Church on
Christmas Day, Saturday, Decem
ber 25th, at 11 a. m. Holy Com
munion will be administered. All
confirmed members of the Church
are expected to receive communion
in accordance with the ancient
unwritten law and practice of the
Church that all communicants re
ceive Communion on the three
major Feast Days of the Chris
tian Church, namely Christmas,
Easter and Pentecost. Services
will be held Sunday, St. Stephen’s
Day as usual, at 11 a. m. and 7:30
p. m.
Levon Program
The Levon Theatre in Weldon,
today announces their program for
this week-end, which will include
their Christmas Eve and Christ
mas Day presentation; also their
bookings for the first four days
;of next week.
Featured Friday and Saturday
of this week will be a double-fea
ture. Buster Crabbe is the star
of “The Renegade” for the first
picture, while Patsy Kelly is fea
tured in “Danger, Women At
Work” for the second bill of the
day. The Levon will observe spe
cial holiday hours on both days,
with shows, starting promptly at
2 o’clock in the afternoon, and
running continuous throughout the
last evening show.
' Sunday brings Ann Miller and
Rochester in “What’s Buzzin’ Cou
sin.” Edward G. Robinson and
Margaret Chapman are co-stars
of “Destroyer” for the Monday
Tuesday bill on next week’s pro
gram. Mary H. Hughes and Lean
Errol are co-featured in “Follow
[The Band” for the Wednesday
Thursday bill on next week’s pro
gram.

DIES AT WELDON
Weldon.—Edwin Clark died Mon
don after an illness of a few
months.
Funeral services were held from
the home Tuesday at 3 p. m. by
the Rev. E. D. Weathers, assisted
by the Rev. W. W. Finlator.
Mr. Clark was bom in South
ampton County, Va., on February
14, 1856. He had lived in Weldon
for 65 years and was in the mer
cantile business. He was married
63 years ago to Eunice T. Jordan
of Greenville County, Va. Surviv
ing are his wife; the following
children, Cblie, Edwin, Elliott and
Harry Clark, all of Weldon, Dr.
Robert Clark of Chapel Hill, Eu
nice Jordan Clark and Mrs. Grady
Edwards of Seaboard, Mrs. Frank
Saunders of Lumberton, Elizabeth
Jane Clark; seven grandchildren,
and one great-grandchild.
