Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto himself” (Philippians 3: 13, 14, 20, 21). The false optimism now sweeping the country that the war is almost over is merely playi/ into the hands of our other enemy, Germany. The Germans realize they cannot win the war, but plan to make allied victory so terribly expensive, aided by the breakdown in civilian work and morale, th0 we will make a compromise deal rather than pay the price of un conditional surrender.
