A:. No. The Red Cross refers
the veteran to the various em
ployment services provided for liim
under the GI Bill of Rights
Q: Does Red Cross have infor
mation on Laws and Regulations
relating to the veteran?
A:. Yes. Such information "is al
ways available in Red Cross chap
ters to veterans and their depend
ents.
Q: Does Bed Cross have infor
mation on insurance for the vet
eran?
A:. Yes. Red Cross provides the
veteran and his dependents with
information on War Risk Insur
ance (World War I) and National
Service Life Insurance (World
War. II).
Q: Does Red Cross assist in se
curing necessary documents?
A: Yes. Red Cross helps the vet
eran secui'e copies of birth certi
ficates, marriage licenses, etc.
Q: Does Red Cross provide nota
ry public service for the veteran?
A: Yes. Red Cross provides
free notary public service to
both able-bodied and disabled vet
erans.

Mrs. F. G. Jarman entertained
at a party Wednesday evening,
November 14, at her home on Hajn
ilton Street, honoring Miss Mary
Taylor, bride-elect, with a kitchen
shower.
The home was decorated with
chrysanthemums and other fall
flowers.
Bridge was played and contests
of best rhymes and best wishes
were enjoyed by the guests after
which Mrs. W. A. China won high
score for bridge, Mrs. F. S. Kemp
for best rhyme and Miss Marjorie
Fleetwood for best wish.
The hostess served a salad plate
to the honoree, Miss Mary Taylor,
