I Mrs. Allie Wood Is Bridge Party Hostess On Tuesday evening Mrs. Allie Wood gave a delightful bridge party at her home on Hamilton Street. In the living room, where the tables were arranged for play ing, bowls of spring flowers were effective with jellow and white predominating. Easter tallies were given each guest as they arrived with places of play and partners designated thereon. After a num ber of interesting progressions of contract bridge scores were col lected and Mrs. George Pappen dick won high and Mrs. A. O. George won second high scores. Each received a lovely prize. At V'en-thirty a delicious plate of country ham, potato salad, hot rolls end coffee was much enjoy ed. Guests were: Mesdames W. C. Williams, H. C. Wirtz, Paul Over ton, George Pappendick, A. O. George, Beaman Helms, Jimmie Currin, G. S. Bunn, Earl Rook, A. L. Gilliam, M F. M. 4 laughtry. » Bride - Elect Honored With Bridge Party On Thursday evening Miss Ann Campbell Taylor, bride-elect was honored by Mrs. Allmond White with a lovely bridge party at the home of Mrs. White in Patterson Apartments. Throughout the apart rpient flowers in attractive arran ' cement added much color and oeauty to the occasion. Original and unique tallies made by the hostess were given the guests upon arrival by Little Miss Ann Beverly Gates. The highest score for the evening was made by Mrs. George Wood, the hostess presenting the nonoree and Mrs. Wood with love ly gifts. A salad plate was enjoyed at ten thirty. Mrs. Matthews S.
