que tienen interes en el Espanol y que leen
este division de High Life que el depart
amento de Espanol es muy joven veniendo
a vida solamente este ano.
No esperan tan mucho de nastoros ami
gos. Este es solamente al empazado y no
sabemos eomo los estudiantes respondere-
mos o si ellos sabemos Espanol suficiente
todaviaa escribir muehos artieulos por el
periodico or no. Los artusilos por supues-
to seran simple en eonstruetion y voeabul-
ario. Tampoeo no tenemos la tipa con las
signos de Bspanil, el aecento, la tilde ect.
Haganos el favor de exeusar. Sabemos
donde ellos se podrian pero no tenemos a
poner. i^ostros esperamos poco progresar
y con simpatia y indulgeneia asperamos
hacer nuestro periodico mejor cada. mes.
Quisieramos que los alumnos de Espanol
de las eseulas de Norte Carolina y de otros
estados tambien haganos el favor de man-
daremoB noticias y artieulos por Cambio y
haeen preguntas y escribirnos carters.
Abajo el titlo d “eCambio” primireraos
cada mes chismes, cliches de discipulos sin
aydua o notaeias del dia tradncidas pir
ellos. Los discipulos escribirian estos y
les dan a los Editroes quienes aseogeran
los mejores y pindran e nel periodico y los
discipulos recibrian credito por ellos. De
este modo los estudiantas son animadas a
usar el idioma.

Encuentro Muy Rara De Los Presidentes
De Las Americas del Sur.
Prohibieon de los leyes de sus paises de
poner pia en territerio extrano durante
sus terminos de officio los presidentes de
los republieas de America del Sur, de Ecu
ador y de Columbia eran los princepales
en un encuentro impressivo en lena inter
national. El encuentro era en media de la
puente sdbre el rio de Carchi por cual la
lenea pasa. Los Presidentes do la mano
los dos en su propii pais minetras los ban-
das tocaron y canones gritaron una salude
en voz roneo de la amestad enrte los dos
paises. Despues de los preliminarids hic-
ieron habilidades y todos eamieron. Los
dog Presidentes estaban sentados en sus
propios paises.
El Peru en La Liga DE Naciones.
Tres notables estadistas peruanos han
designados eomo delepados del Peru al
consejo de la Liga Naciones.
Laga de Auga Fresca En Panama.
El unico laga de auga fresca en Panama
era discubrido haee unos pocos meses cer-
ca de Ancon por aviatores del Siete Aero
Squadron durante un deconnoicimiento
aerial.

The first annual meeting of the North
Carolina branch of the National Congress
of the Parent-Teacher Association was
held in Greensboro on November 3rd and
4th. The programs for both days were
full and extremely interesting.

A very amusing occasion was held in
Room 205 when they elected their officers.
They were:

Treasurer—Walter Clement.
Tile High School Orchestra is practicing
faithfully several afternoons in the week.
The prospects for some good music are
bright, as there are twelve coming out to
the practices. A twelve piece orchestra
will sound fine in chapel!
