Mr. Sandvig went on. “The general outline of the classes can be summar ized as follow's: Trade drafting—students are fitted to be drjiftsmen; during the first six weeks general drafting is taught, after flint they specialize in either arclii- tecfural drawing, aeronautical drawing or engineering drawing. Aircraft sheetmetal work—boys are to construct actual models of planes in class. Machine shop—boys are taught to use lathe, milling machine and other machines. "Tlie students, in all, have three hours in class each day, and receive three credits a year for the work,” he concluded. Is Not (’ompuisor.v for Seniors This year marks the introduction of the program, which is not compulsory for high school seniors. Students en- Tering the eighth grade this year will have four more years of high school instruction after the completion of this years work, and high school seniors may, if courses are available, return for an additional year after they com plete the evelen year program.
