Ragtime Jubilee Is Given
By Choir and Orchestra
The Ragtime Jubilee, a minstrel
presented by the Senior High Choir
and Orchestra, was given in two
performances last Thursday after
noon and Friday night.
This most delightful minstrel
was filled to capacity with song,
dance, and verse, skillfully ren

The end men (commonly de

only the audience roaring, but the
cast itself.
One of the most entertaining
features of this production was the
“Hot Cha Opera in Z Flat Minor”
(notice the key, please). With the

from the “Chocolate Soldier.”
Petite Kat Wall and Elaine Leon

ably aided by the singing of the
choir.
Ruth Hawkins added her bit of
operatic genius with her rendition
of “Wonderful One.”
Lacy Fogleman and Jim Moser
did more than justice to “Old Man
River” and “Dinah,” respectively.
“Make Believe” by Lane McGreg
or and Paul Berry added that won-

derful bit of romantic spice to the
entire spectacle. And the entire
cast gave a marvelous performance
that was appreciated and applaud

she did to promote a success, that

Here’s hoping that all of
